So, flash back to Christmas, my mom said she got me some coins...wouldn't tell me what though. After a long while of waiting...She got them in a week ago, and gave them to me today when she came over to drop of my brothers (I am watching them for Valentines weekend). Here they are...believe it or not..they are kinda cool (I hope I don't get yelled at for saying I like them..lol). And they will remain in my collection permanantly: stainless
Haha nice. It is always the thought that counts, and at least you didn't get John McCain coins.:secret:
Treasure the memory of where those coins came from and the spirit in which they were given to you Anthony. They will always deserve a place of honor in your collection.
This would have been a perfect gift for my Dad.... he died a few years ago, but was the "ultra-conservative"; I could always get him riled up by giving him little gifts like this. Now a Rush Limbaugh coin... he would have loved that!
Very sweet thought indeed Stainless. It's touching to know that she did put her thought into finding something specific to what you enjoy...coins..
I think it's sweet. My Mom and Mother in law both wanted to order one off TV for Garrett. My knee has been killing me since the 2nd surgery and I'm not sleeping very well at night, so I wake up and turn on the TV. If I keep waking up to Montel Williams selling them it's possible that in a pain induced sleep deprived stupor I might buy one. I was watching the original Star Trek last week at 0230 and half way through the episode MONTEL shows up selling this coin. He just cut right in the middle of my show. :crying: I still don't know if Captain Kirk, Spock and McCoy made it out alive. :mouth: (It was the episode where they had to fight each other gladiator style :thumb Give your Mom a hug and kiss. :hug:Kiss I promise it will make her day!
