WOW!!!!! had to share this with you all!

The vault manager ordered 2 boxes of halves for me because she thought I might want them. I only had enough to get 40 rolls today. Here is what I pulled thus far:

10-1964

3-1966

14-1967

4-1968D

5-1969D

And my very first franklin a 1952

I will definately hustle back in the morning for the rest.

The 42S and 43P were in addition to 1 1964D and 13 40% silver Kennedy's!

Not as good a find as yours jd3681, but I'm happy, none the less.

hmph, gonna have to take a trip to the bank monday if they hurricane doesn't close everything.

 

Didn't I see in the news last year that one or more of the hurricanes brought up coins from the ocean floor and deposited them on some of the beaches ? You may have an opportunity.

 

i've found a buffalo nickel on a beach before, so its possible

one of the banks nearby only had 4 rolls of halves, i got two, and while i didnt get any silver, they were in pretty good condition and filled alot of holes i'm going to get the other two on monday

 

I live in South GA so it wouldn't be an option

This hurricane is up to 145mph winds; it's looking bad for the coast.

 

indeed it does though it looks like it might go towards new orleans instead of up the east coast-for now.
