I may be a bit new at this but I have found getting around on the US Mint website a bit haphazard, especially trying to find where I could buy the new Lincoln coin. I realize that it doesn't go on sale until noon today but I had stumbled onto it's icon once and have since been unable to find it. Any help out there?

Go to Product Availibility, then to Upcoming Products. You'll find it there.

I just placed my first order with the mint. I was able to wrestle 4 proof Lincoln dollars. When all said and done I believe I would rather be waterboarded. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when those 50,000 one cent sets hit the market.

I have been buying from the Mint since 1999. They have screwed up more in the last year than the previous 10.

2008, changed servers in mid January on the day the Bald Eagles went on sale. Website down for over a week !!!!!!!!

2008-2009, moved Memphis distribution center to Indiana......and if you thought Memphis was slow you ain't seen nothing yet. They have totally messed up the UHR program. One day on hold, next day bo'd, next day will ship 2-6, next day will ship 2-20 etc etc etc.

Called Mint today.....was told no UHR's had been shipped and it would be early March before any orders were shipped....I told her the first ones shipped Monday and she said "not from the U.S. Mint". I said thank you and hung up. You better tighten up Mr. Moy....I want your job !!!! :pencil:

If you want to see a really messed up web site, go the the Canadian Mints web site. WOW, now thats a treat. Get ready to pull your hair out. The British Royal Mints site was horrendous too, but they changed it around last year and its much better. I guess I have been on the US mints website since it first went up, so to me it can't get any better than that, but as a first timer, I can understand how confusing it may be.

It's a government operation. Is it any wonder these stimulus deals are such a hoot-n-nanny.

Just another example of big bureaucracy, but won't it be grand when we get our UHR? I encountered the same this morning at the website, the order tracking link is disabled, "check back" or call the 1-800 #,, no thanks, been there done that, I'll wait it out like the rest of you. )-:
