Very nice! A Claudius II consecration issue was among the first coins I ever purchased, too!

I particularly like these issues because they are tied to a particular historical event - they are notably so small and ratty because the Rome mint had come under the management of one Felicissimus who either orchestrated or at least tolerated his employees' adulteration of the coinage - they were not only striking coins with about half of the metal they were supposed to, but they were also debasing the antonianus (nominally about 2-3% silver) and keeping the excess for themselves!

Emperor Aurelian caught wind of this, and put Felicissimus to death. Fearing the same, the mint workers used their ill-gotten gains to scramble a makeshift army to resist Aurelian. He laid down the Banhammer on the mint workers - leading to one of the bloodiest revolts within the city walls during this time.

Another coin minted at Rome during this time - due to the apparent lack of quality control, one can periodically nab mules that combine a lifetime reverse (probably of Aurelian) with a DIVO CLAUDIO obverse

I recently sprung for one of these earlier this year - the only type to include his honorific "Gothico". This was minted at Mediolanum - the difference between the mints is quite stark
