Is it a print error? or maybe me is colour blinded? lolHey guys, I found this 1988 A $5 in circulation,I know it's not an old date, but's it's 20 years old paper money! It has a fold in the middle. I have never seen any dollar with this colour, I feel it is light green or washed green (wg means, I feel like the money was washed,so the colour was gone a bit... I know it never go!But it's a way of saying.) Do u feel the same? I have seen many many other $ in circulation but I feel that this dollar doesn't have the green of authentic $. I'm also amazed of finding this note in this condition after 20 years of circulation in overseas. I'm posting the photos so you can give me the right answer of my thread's title. Does it have any special reason to be holded?
OMG! IS THAT A SCARFACE LINCOLN ERROR? IS THERE SUCH VARIETY? SCARFACE ABE? I'M GOING TO SEARCH FOR IT ON THE NET.:computer:
there's a Scarface Morgan... it's in great condition for it's age - otherwise there's noting special about it.
It looks fine to me... i dont see anything especially wrong with the color. I agree with Freakygarrettc ... if you like it keep it! besides, here in the states, if the federal reserve gets a hold of that note - they will shred it...so save it from certain death lol
I can't understand, Why are they distroying old notes? THEIR CIRCULATION is already destroying them. <<that's a good quote eh?
newer notes have more and better security features built in to the notes. They want most of the circulating notes to have those. To a point however, i do agree with you - the 1 dollar note hasnt exactly changed over the last couple decades... so why pull older notes? But the feds policy is anything older then '95 is automatically pulled- 1's, 2's, 5',s 10's ect ....
