I believe this to be a minor cud, But would like confirmation. There isn't any match on cuds on coins. Any advice is appreciated! DSC02520.JPG DSC02523.JPG DSC02524.JPG

Damage, not a cud or die break imo

Looks like it's part of the damage in the L & A.,
and the rim. Check the edge of the coin below
    the A, and there's a good chance you'll see a
    rm bump there.

Looks like the edge and rim are almost perfect. DSC02528.JPG DSC02529.JPG DSC02532.JPG

I can see a small bump on the edge so it was caused by damage.

OK, no rim bump, but the rim
is flattened below the A. Still PMD

Fred could you point out the "flattened area? I don't see it at all.

It's directly under the A, to the right of left post in A.

So you're trying to tell me that a "hit" that is no larger than 1/32nd of an inch is going to spread enough material to fill 3/16" of an inch? ok sure right!

Check the left half of the foot of the "L" and the right serif of the "A". You can see flattening of the metal.

Not seeing it! Like I said how does a "hit" so small make up that larger area?

The whole area under the A is the 'hit' area, not just
    the small incuse area.

    There is no incuse area!

I was referring to the incused small 'hit' on the
rim itself, below the left leg of the A. That's what
I though you were referring to.

I'm still talking about the flattened area of the
rim below most of the A.

It's damaged, as mentioned numerous times, but I
think I'm being a bit too specific when talking about
certain areas of the coin - sorry 'bout that.

It's your coin, and we're just confusing each other
pointing out areas that each of us are not talking about.

It's all about the enjoyment, so enjoy.
