I paid $75 for the book i was lead to believe was on half dimes not dimes as it turned out to be....however it is also a book sought after and I sold the dime one,and still on the hunt for the L&M on half dimes.
Now Kevin Flynn has a book on seated h-10's it now is out of print....copies are easy to be found around 75 $

One needs to remember that these books do have as other errors in some cases...but most of the data is correct.

I paid $140 plus $5 shipping for a new one in April 2020. I was happy to find a copy!

When I was kid in the 70s it was very difficult to find good info on coins outside of the Redbook. In the late 80s and early 90s, specialized books were being published, so I started buying from ads in the back of numismatic news and coin world (Brooklyn Gallery was a favorite seller). It didn't matter if I collected that series, I just wanted the information. Here are some from my library that I bought 25-30 years ago

Ive even rebound books in plastic pages on those old glue in bindings .Part of me wishes I had kept the book ...on seated dimes,,,but so wanted the half dime book...I let it go to a buddy.
I can remember going to the drug store to read coinage magazine...
