    I thought that if a blank has been through the upsetting mill to produce a planchet with a rim, you would still have a rim on the blank side, even an off centred strike would retain some or most of the rim. IMO

    Just commenting on what i have seen before. When two planchets are stacked on top of each other when struck, you get an OBV with blank Rev, and the other is a Rev with a blank Obv, but the rims were still there on the blank sides

    That is correct. The Reverse of the coin is altered.

    Not a Mint Error.

    First coin is a Die Trial, Second is a pattern. Those are intentional Uniface.

    Your coin was altered post mint.
