Going through my father-in-laws coins we found some that we cannot figure out what they are...any guess? i think there are photos attached to this message
The first one is an 1819 2 reales struck at the Mexico City mint. The second is an 1842 2 pesos struck at the Popayan mint in Columbia.
The 3rd Ed. 18th Century Krause values the silver 2 Reales (KM#93) at $6 for VG, $12 F, and up to $85 XF. IMO yours wouldn't go any higher than VG, but I'm not familiar with any special grading standards that may exist for the issue. The gold 2 Pesos, from the Republic of Nueva Granada, one of several Spanish breakaways that united to form what we now call Colombia (KM#95), is listed at $55 VG. I'm guessing at an AG to G grade on yours, so it probably has no numismatic value over its $40-ish bullion value.
