Wondering if this line across the obverse happened at the mint....Kinda looks like it did.
Also found a 1936 dime that has something stuck to it's lower obverse....How could I clean it off? Thanks ahead of time! SingleShot0000.jpg SingleShot0002.jpg SingleShot0006.jpg SingleShot0007.jpg

Joe, is that a linear plating blister on the 83?

Yes it happened at the Mint. It's a zinc Cent with s linear plating blister. A nice example but only worth face value.

As for the Dime, not sure of the best way to clean it without damaging coin.

I was gonna say that it looks like the path of the bullet...but that would be crass.
