Anyone know what this is worth? I'm thinking of buying it (face to face), this is a scan that I was sent. Particularly, I'd like someone to verify that it's not obviously counterfeit.
Coin appears to have been harshly cleaned and to have dip residue. I can see nothing right off that would make me think it fake, but value in that condition would be bit over spot and that's about it.
Thanks for the info. The guy was asking just barely over spot which is why I was so wary about it being counterfeit. I'm guessing the "dip residue" is the darker stuff near the edges, where it's a kind of copper color?
