    Congratulations on your acquisition. Although the coin is worn, it is well centered, it shows all of the diagnostics and is a very representative example. You are right that the sub-variety is 44/5.3, and this variety is closest to the example Crawford chose to depict this variety in his plates.

    This is. It's hard to stop at just 1 when you realize how many styles, mints, etc there are. For me, the more I learned the more I wanted to collect these, especially after seeing the amazing collection Steve has put together. There's something really magical about seeing a big group of these and being able to compare them side by side.
