I thought you might like to see my latest acquisition which came very cheaply with a job lot of jewellery and miscellaneous along with a few other coins dating from 1746 to 1807. This is a Cartwheel Twopence and is in quite good condition apart from a bruise to the left of the 'B' and 'R' in Britannia and a small ding below Georges chin. The Britannia side is the true colour... I think the flash affected poor old George. What do you think?
    Best wishes, Mike.

It's looks quite like the U.S. trade dollar design, except the trident and shield were replaced by a bushel of wheat and a liberty banner.
Who knew the Trade dollar design was ripped off from the British?

Outstanding for the type. As you know, these are heavy, soft copper coins and get dinged VERY easlily. Worn/damaged ones are not uncommon, but the nicer ones are very desirable. I got a very decent one on eBay a few yeasr back for $35 and I thought that was a huge bargain.
