Looks like a possible lamination. Wait for an opinion from someone who specializes in errors, which I do not. If it is a lamination, it's a fairly dramatic one, and likely worth a modest premium, though I suspect it will still not be a very valuable coin, monetarily. It's certainly interesting, though.

It's a 1944 Lincoln Wheat Ear Cent that has a detached lamination. A great looking piece and a mint error. Not worth a lot but worth keeping and enjoying. There is a small extra value on this coin.
