Jeff nickel die break?

I have recently come into possession of a '93-P Jefferson with what appears to me to be a die crack, similar to the speared bison die crack. The line caused by the crack goes straight from the tip of Jefferson's nose to the bottom of the "e" in "We" at the left edge (pierced nose, perhaps?).
I was just wondering whether anyone else has seen such; or is there another possible explanation for the phenomenon? The line is definitely raised, not gouged; and no matter how you examine the coin, the line does not disappear. Any thoughts?

Thru the 90's into the early 2000's you will see alot of these. I used to keep these when I roll hunt nickels. After filling a tube I decided to stop saving them. This is a common die break.

Thanks, Pyrbob. It figures. Although I am fairly new at this coin stuff, I've looked at hundreds of nickels; and this is the first one I've seen, so it represents a bit of a novelty for me. Appreciate your help and feedback (all).
