hello, I am looking to buy certified (PCGS, NGC or ANACS) Mexico Pillar Dollar, EF-AU, can anyone direct me to a site which is selling with a reasonable price. I only see about 3 or 4 in ebay...but I think the price is too high there..any suggestion..thanks!!
I would suggest a quick search in Google with the search terms "pcgs 8 reales." This should direct you to some dealers with this type of inventory. Make take a little browsing time, but you should find what you're looking for. Happy hunting!
Slabbed examples of columnarios ARE quite expensive just about anywhere. This is in part due to the coin's tremendous popularity. I would watch ebay on a daily basis if I were you. For what you are asking about that is where I see the best deals. And I search for these coins on a daily basis.
I got one certified by anacs on ebay a few months back. When I am looking for a hard to find coin on ebay I just set up a saved search and let it run. If you are not aware of this feature if runs the desired search for you every day and emails you the results.
thank you all for the infos, I saw a few Mid-1700 ANACS AU50 Pillar dollars on ebay for about $550, I was told AU50 should go for about $420, that is why I am asking for advise on the pricing..., I would pay 4 and changes for it,,but mid five is sort of high for me.. I will keep tracking ebay for it daily
