I am planning on going to that show in April and meeting up with stainless, is anyone else planning on going? Be kool if a few of us could meet up. This will actually be my first coin show, lol. I'm looking forward to it. :kewl: Phoenix
I have been to the last several shows at Dearborn. Hope to make the spring show but this depends if I can muster up enough cash. For your first show this one can be quite overwhelming but a great show. You can never take enough money.
I'll be there. This will be quite a show if it's your first. It's the largest one in Michigan, with about 200 dealers. Most of the shows I go to around here have 20-30 dealers. Unsolicited advice: Make sure you take everything you need, but pack light. Pace yourself. Ask questions. Learn coin show etiquette before you go, and practice it once you're there.
I'll be there. Another bit of specific advice - leave your coat in the car, no matter how chilly it may be that day. This is more relevant to the winter show, but still something you should keep in mind. It's very, very easy to spend a whole day at the MSNS show, or even multiple days. Brimg a non-perishable snack of some sort as well, food at the show isn't cheap.
I'll be there. I haven't missed on in, gosh I dont remember when. I am a member of the MSNS. Have several friends who setup there as dealers and always take home some Busties from the show. If your into Large Cents there is a dealer always there with some nice ones. Having to start saving my change so I can buy me something. : )
We will all have to try to meet up. :kewl: That would be sweet. Anyone that would like to meet up, pm me and we can make arrangements. :kewl: This is going to be sweet. Phoenix
If anyone wants to chat I end up spending most of my time at John Burns' table, or not finding any nice, affordable copper on my way to John.
Iam going to try and make it. Only problem is that Iam going to the Florida Keys less then two weeks later for a family vacation so might be strapped for cash. Might have to take out some of that "just in case" money. Will PM you if Iam going..
I'm usually a John Burns table as well (Met Fish there this past Nov) but I'm not going to make it this time. I've got three shows in April already and ne of them conflicts with Michigan. (CICF in Chicago, EAC the following weekend in Cincinnati, and then Central States the next weekend also in Cincinnati.)
Hey guys, I will do my best to attend this show as a walker, I will not have a table, but if this many CT'ers are going to be there, I can visit family AND do a show. I'll look into it. MSNS was the first show I ever attended as kid 30+ years ago:thumb:
