1965 Washington Quarter

    for this one I see some possible doubling on the obverse slightly ne of the date and on the reverse check out the O of DOLLAR down the left side... what you guys think? TIA!

    I don't see anything out of the ordinary... The O looks like PMD

    This was the first year of clad coinage and they struck 1.82 billion of these. Yours has PMD, @capthank and normal wear for 55 years young...worth FV...imo...Spark

    It has PMD (Post-Mint Damage), but it's not just PMD. It also has die deterioration due to over use of the dies (they made so many quarters this year - as Spark mentioned, more than 1.8 billion!!!) ;)

    If it had been struck on a leftover 1964 90% silver planchet, then you'd have something special! ;)
