Bought this coin on offer up hoping to send it in to be graded. Does this scratch look like post mint damage?
How much did you pay for it?I'm just wondering because all of them are hundreds of dollars hopefully you didn't pay that much.
I really don't know much about it, but that's not a particularly good looking coin. I guess you are talking about the stuff between Liberty's arm and the privy mark? How about the stuff below the IGWT and at the top of the coin?
It's on the coin and just imagine it as the case looks better than the mirror surface of the coin lol
$400 you paid way to much in my opinion I would probably only pay around $100 if I really wanted one.
I hope i am wrong but it looks like the scratch is on the coin, also a smudge in the field left of the V75, i wonder if someone removed it from the capsule?? I Just looked at the one i have, no scratches on Capsule and Coin is clean as a whistle!
Then you’ll never get one. There is absolutely no where you can get one for 100 or even close to that
i think $400 is the lowest price i have seen on the net so far, maybe once the hype is over it might drop some but i don't think we will ever see it at $100 unless it comes from China
Although I didn't particularly like or want the coins, even if there had been enough for all coin collectors, I still wouldn't get either one. They are over rated and not particularly nice looking. I sometimes wonder if the mint would make a coin that looked like a pile of **** , and they only minted 2,000, there would be a fight to get one in their possession. The Mint knew what they were doing. Anyway, my interest was on the Mayflower coins, of which I got the gold set and the reverse silver. I have the silver set in the order list, but it's been "Processing" since November 17th. I don't believe they plan on sending me one.
The price is probably within range but the coin itself does not impress me very much. My opinion only, to each his own. Thanks for posting it.
got an Email from Apmex this afternoon for pre orders, $695.00 for the V75 Silver Eagle, Graded PR 70 SLV is $1395.00, PR 70 gold is $18,995.00
thats a joke to pay that much . the dealers will make money but try selling it in a few years . every body buiys the junk form the sellers thats why you got it for that price they made lots on you for there junk the best ones are already sent for grade just my opinion 50 plus year collector
Woohoo!!! I was able to get one from somebody for $170, including shipping. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive. Not exactly happy about paying that price, since I had one in my cart when they went on sale, but couldn’t complete the transaction. However, it is less than others I have seen for sale. Now I just need a regular 2020, the 2019 Enhanced, which I also had in my cart when it went on sale, and the one that I will probably never get, the 1995 W. I suppose you could add the 2008, reverse of 2007 to the list of needed, as well.
I would suspect there's an issue with that one unless they're doing you a favor which for your case hopefully they are. That's less than half price of market value
