    Hi!

I have finally gotten around to taking pictures of this set of 3 notes I have had for some time. I have no idea of the value of this set, and would greatly appreciate peoples opinions and advice! Would it be worth it to get them graded? I wouldnt want to let them go for less than their value so please let me know your opinions even if someone has already answered. Thanks in advance!

The first note (A60233333A) looks almost perfect to me, a very crisp note but it has some sort of glue droplet or something yellow underneath the A on the righthand serial #. The following two notes are sequential but the one inbetween is missing unfortunately. (I think I should keep them as a set!)

The second two look pretty perfect, although ones slightly more bendy than the other. Thanks again, I'm a newby at notes!

Well from what I looked up, 18,000,000 of the Series 1953 A printed and not too valuable. Nice notes none the lees but without holding the notes to see the condition and looking at the scans, and scans can be deciving...I would say they were XF to AU at about $10- $12 each.....maybe more to the right collector. If they were to Grade out CHCU then about $25 each.

If they were Series 1928, well that would be a different story now!

Thanks for your guyses opinions! I know 1953 notes are common, but the fact that this notes serial # is solid block (60233333) doesnt add any value?? or the fact that the next two are sequential?

p91, just to give you an idea of the price of sequential notes. My brother in law offered me 10 Unc. 2 dollar sequential United States ( red seal ) notes for the price of 50 dollars.

No - if it were a repeating or radar number or 7 of 8 3's it would be a different story. I think RickieB nailed the value.

Sorry - still very nice notes though.
