1919 wire

    Ok..lets try again. Something new for me and looking for some info. It appears to be a wire that actually goes through the rim and out the reverse. Is this possibly a mint error or post. Thanks for the help.

    That looks like solder or brazing to me.

    Possibly it was a homemade ( obviously) stickpin for a coat lapel. It has the right angle.

    LOL I have no idea where I got it from. I'm to the point I just grab a big bag of whatever year to cherry through every night.

    you could always drill out the solder and make it into jewelry
