well i bought a roll of P buffs because i didnt have any, and i opened it up to check for errors and BU ones. Well i know u guys said this already, but this was terrible. EVERY coin had knicks and huge marks everywhere, on the rims, on the buffalo, and on good ole Jeffey himself

bank roll or mint roll? Not that it probably matters a whole lot.

I got mint rolls still in the box off ebay for 9.00 in the past few days...but I still see them going for 15.00 or more too.... guess it's hit or miss.

Lay off of Spider Midas. Every time he makes a post you seem to have a problem with it.

I have only opened one roll of buffs (D roll) from the bank and they were also awful. I was so disappointed that I did not keep a single one and just put them into circulation.

Spider, I encountered the same situation with bags from Philly and Denver. On most of the coins, it looks like Jeffrson has been shaving with a chain saw. And the marks in the field are tremendous. I ams still going to hang on to them, just to see how the market breaks. A any rate, with the Mint changing the appearance of the Mint set, the few good coins that come from rolls and bags will be in demand from collectors trying to fill up their sets.

I found a buffalo nickel with nicks on the obverse field.

You can really tell that Midas has nothing to do but TRY (unsuccessfully) to put people down.
Right now I could use a quote from Midas, but Ill be nice cause I promised good' ole GD

Right about now I just wish you Spider, and Midas - would put a stop to this nonsense. It is simply not necessary to make such comments.

So either both of you stop it - or I will.

Normally I would not make such comments publicly. But in this case I am making an exception in the hope that EVERYONE understands this behavior is not acceptable on Coin Talk.

I am defending my self. I only point out truths in these situations, and I already said Id stop GD, this time u gotta reread not me ;)

I understand only too well. But stop means stop - that means you DO NOT defend yourself here. If you feel you must - do it privately by using a PM.

Just ignore such comments - do not respond to them - do not attempt to defend yourself - that only prolongs the situation and makes it worse. And that goes for everybody.

Of course the key is - don't make disparaging personal remarks and snide comments to begin with. It WILL NOT be tolerated.
