I believe this coin maybe double die on the date and liberty and on the back were E pluribus unum.trying to get a second opinion some one else's said it was but I would rather have you Guy's opinion.
I am not trying to be mean, the photos you are providing just aren't clear enough to help you. Have you tried this site? http://varietyvista.com/index.htm There is one DDR for the year and MM. http://varietyvista.com/04b JN DD Vol 2/DDR Detail Pages/1991PDDR001.htm Most of the time especially with nickels. The doubling is from Die deterioration and not hub doubling.
I agree with Pickin and Grinin, looks like probably machine doubling. It happens when a die gets worn and moves or bounces on the coin. Your pictures are getting a lot better but it's still a bit out of focus and hard to see details like doubling.
Give me just a second getting ready to send front and back they look a lot better this time sorry about that my phone ha's a mind off it's own.
Yeah it's not the prettiest nickel I have every seen my 1943 war nickel is in better shape than this.
I have 3 different dimes a 1984 d and 1984 p and a 1982 p I am about 100 positive these are double on the back should be every word is I am not for sure about the front but I think they are to.
I was wondering if any body got any thing on these coins I got a few more 1982 p coins just like the one in the picture in better shape but the picture off the one is in good shape for real any body see that 1984 quarter to I was wondering what make's one do that especially the back pretty wild I collect all types off coins I like different country coins I think their pretty neat.
Again, they look like machine doubling. Dimes from the 1980's to the early 2000's are notorious for bad, weak strikes and worn out dies. They also have a lot of die chips and breaks.
I'm so sorry about bothering you Guy's I'm really been doing a lot of reading and research I'm really having a hard time with this double die thing I really don't mean to bother you Guy's I just want to learn and learn buy the best I have a 1982 p it's in really good shape I have some small dates their hard to fine but this Penny stood out here is a couple of pictures.
Two me it looks like doubling on the front and back really around the E pluribus unum.and one cent I don't even know if this coin even post to have a flaw I know the small date zinc does on the back I know their is a another one has doubling on it it maybe the 1982 d not for sure.
