Struck Through or PMD

    This is on a 2000 cent. I'm at odds over whether the marks are pmd or struck through. There is no raised metal around the indentations and there is no damage on the back. The mark on the ear that cleanly cuts through the detail is what grabbed my attention. If it were a strike through, what object would have caused this? Help is appreciated, thanks!

    Damaged. IMHO. Someone got viscious with a small flathead screwdriver.

    The lighting make the marks appear to be raised. While blistering is common on Zincoln's I've never seen perfectly straight dashes like those, so are they raised, or incused?

    Then in all likelihood it is just PMD.
