1989 penny double dye on the date? Layers of scratches on the back?

    See that ridge ring going through IGWT. That is a sign of Die Deterioration Doubling. Even with out seeing closer photos of the date. I can 99.9% guarantee that is what you have.

    +4 FYI it is called doubled die, not double dye.

    I have a bad looking different colors these zinc pennys are something else I think they are ugly. But I was wondering what you see on the date on this 1995 Penny.

    Thanks is that all you see sure that is not a error what about the date it's the best picture I got with this camera.
