well we had a game called quiz down in school today. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place would not have to take the finals. Though we didnt get 1st or 2nd, we did get 3rd coming back from last place!!! The team I was on will automatically get a 100 on the final and for 3 days, we dont have to do nothing. :D :D :D Though first place did admit to something, one player knew the questions so on the 2nd or 3rd word of each question, she "buzzed" in and knew it. I do not like how the teachers did nothing about it, im still happy with 3rd. :) :D :) :D :) :D

Yes sir e! Around here in the schools it's "PARTY TIME" until school is out at the end of the month. The teachers are kept busy figuring out ways to fool the kids into thinking they are accomplishing something, when in fact the learning has stopped for the year. Ia it any wonder that the foreign students are out performing our kids in any area you care to name. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaiming the kids, it's the schools that are short changing our students while robbing the general public of funds to support their life styles.

Now I'll get off of the stump, and keep my mouth closed.

So what in the world does this have to do with coins? Another quantity post versus quality post. This will just move the good threads further down the main forum list.

Lighten up Midas, ur gonna get a heart attack if u keep repeating that.

As for u Dan, I have challenged foreign students before and was very good compared to them. Im in the top 40 outta over 800+ students.

Dag-nab-it, why when I was in school, we had to walk up hill 10 miles in waist deep snow to play quiz games, both ways! And we were still in last place because our hands and arms were frozen off and couldn't press the buzzer. We use to have foreign students back then too...Came all the way from the next county. They weren't nothin' special though.

lol Moen, but remember im Polish, which means so r my parents. Today i was told by my mom that every day she had to walk 2 horses 5 miles in 3 foot snow so the horses legs wouldnt hurt from not moving. My dad also has a story of walking over semi mountains for school, but i believe that because ive been to where he lived. vicious cows !!!

im 100%, so supposidly, my dad and mom never had fun but worked their whole life, its funny because my dad would tell me something he had to do when he was little, then id ask my grandma, and she'd start laughing. Dont believe the stories unless u have proof!!!

Everybody has parents that had to move heaven and earth just to use the outhouse back in the good old days. My dad was an orphan and the German nuns use to lock in in cupboards with rats for three days at a time. He however, considered himself lucky because about 40% of the orphans died there.
