    Thanks aj, i think I bought it right. Nice feathers on the reverse thats why I pulled the trigger.

    I couldn't find any distinguishing features to attribute it any farther than just a nice 1817 Bust Half. I've always wanted to cherrypick a nice 1817 with the broken I in the motto, but never had any luck.

    Looks to be an O-111 R1 coin, nice strong details. I can not see if there is a die crack from top of CA down across arrowheads and leaves to the top of the U.(kinda follows the lower rim)

    I like it. Nice pickup.

    I like that coin too Tdec. Nice!
    The 1807, 1817 ad 1818 dates have something about them. I 'need' to get one.
    What is your opinion of the toning? i am asking to educate myself really; to me it seems quite original.

    Eduard, it is very original and has that perfect dovetail tone that you want in an old half.
