Quarter dollar 1854... but what's this please?

    Hi all.
    I became the owner of this coin today as part of a job lot and am wondering what the cracks are in the first photo (sorry for the quality of the photos)     They appear as though they have been there from new. Also perhaps you can tell me if it has any value. Thanks and Best wishes, Mike.

    They appear to be planchet flaws, never saw any quite that bad though. And no it has no additional value.
