another $800 gone for airtitites and IS

another $800 is has bitten the dust but now i dont have to spend more than $100 and the spock collection will be completely preserved in airtities and IS.

my total expenses for airtites and IS has now crossed the 5k mark ( not including other storage expenses) any thoughts? i think thats a lot of money gone for preservation and i just have a collection not a museum

How many coins do you have? sheesh. =) Lucky guy. I just spent some cash at JP's Corner myself on airtites and tubes.

 

I think you must have a very large collection!

 

p.s. I think it is a wise investment, and years from now you will be happy you invested in it. I know my coins preserved in kontains have fared virtually unchanged for decades.

 

well i had a reasonable collection and i had about 3k i would say in all that. then i was suddenly given a very large collection so i have had to spend all that money to get it stored and protected. now the catloging part will kill me. just sorting all those coins in airtites will be like moving a 100lb gorilla. just imagine

I certainly don't have the need for THAT much but I just placed another large order for more IS products and storage today as well.

I can't imagine how much time it would take to put everything in 5k worth!! Hope you have help!

 

Hmmm - depending upon volume pricing, I'd guess you have around 10,000 coins! You might as well open a spock museum. When will it be open and may I have an exclusive showing?

I'm only 38 (now that you mention it, I am gettting old :bigeyes: ) -- picked up collecting early in life and put it down for a long time.

I sort of like the recording part of collecting.
