I am thankful for the social outlet, learning opportunities and friendship I have found on this forum. You all have helped me get through hard times and isolation. I thank you all!! I am thankful for my latest acquisition, a one quarter Balboa that I traded with Evan Saltis for. It joins it's two bigger brothers.
Ah no turkey here today.....oh yeah I got all the other sides....sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, apple sauce It seems the Butterball turkey tenderloins in the fridge went bad.... they are dated use by 12 /3/20 And we have purchased them before. I open the package and knew right away youre not having turkey today... Thank God for Costco Sea Scallops as they defrost quickly in cold water..... I have some turkey frozen ,but that wasn't going to defrost in time. Well for 30 plus years I've cooked Thanksgiving dinner never killed any attendees..and today was no different .... oh well what else 2020? Better not ask....
Thankful? While I don't want to pour water on the fire, I think I'll wait to see if I make through the remainder of this year before being thankful. I am thankful to all of the first responders that give so much always and in this trying time. No family gathering. No turkey. No friends over. But I will take a nap by the fire. LOL
Everyday that I wake up I'm thankful. Thank you all for your kindness and wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
