Last night I picked up a box of halves at a bank I happened to stop at and when I got home my 13 month old daughter was VERY interested in what Daddy had So I decided to let her learn how to sort halves. Breaking open the box: Inspecting a roll: The taste test "I don't like them Daddy, you can have it." Lots of fun! But it appears that I will have to teach that eating/chewing on coins is not the best way to preserve them for future generations.
Keep it up. My 9 year old daughter knows more about error coins than my wife. She even knows I have the speared bison and my wife doesn't. I bought her a 1900 off center indianhead cent with a hole in it that she can wear as a necklace.
Thanks you all for your kind words, she definately gets her "cuteness" from her mother! I have no doubt that she will one day enjoy collecting the coins herself instead of just chewing on them I thought the pics were cute and I'm glad that you all enjoyed them. CJD
Whassssss dis Now after your sweet daughter finishes with the coins let us know if she found some winners.Eh
Feed it well Also having daughters I enjoyed your post. Now some advice for When she gets older Bring to life your avatar - your daughter is going to be a knock out and you will need that mean avatar + a cave troll to protect her. Yup- must have gotten her cutes from Mum.
hmmm, let me look around on my hard drive and see if I can find them. The free picture hosting site I was using "upgraded' to a pay site and I didn't "upgrade" with them so they must have deleted the pics (a risk of using a free service I suppose). The pics were rather cute, if I do say so myself.
Here they are again: Breaking open the box: Inspecting a roll: The taste test "I don't like them Daddy, you can have it." Enjoy! I sure enjoyed looking at all the old pictures. Digital cameras are wonderful things!
