This is the last note of this type that I was after.

Congratulations @kanga on your new addition. I’m guessing the tiny nick on the upper edge kept it from receiving EPQ.

LOL, I showed the wrong note.
Here's the one I just received:

Wait one, still trying to fix my problem.
    Now I've got it right.

I like all of your stuff. But that first note is overgraded.
It's dirty and has a crease through the portrait. Not a 58.

If graded as such I would not send it back, unless it was a much better item.

    Did you get a $1, $5, and $10 ?

Is that inconsistent with a 58 grade ?

The "A" block is rarer than the "C" block, as I recall.

I went for condition and low SN so went with a "C" note.

    Yes, and the $20.
And the three North Africa notes too.

    I'm missing something here.

There are different blocks...the bills above are the "LA" block, mine is the "CC" (see below):

    Ah, yes. The $1 notes.
Mine is a "PC" block which is one of the most common.
The "CC" block is just slightly less common.
It appears that the "FC" block is the least common.

I believe the A-C block is the toughest non-star block.

I looked again and you're correct.
"A-C" notes graded VF and higher are the most expensive.
But below VF they are not.

The FC has the lowest printing but they were used as presentation pieces. As Steve said, finding AC in grade is tougher than FC.

    What's a presentation piece ?
