Sorry maybe Didn't explain myself. I took money from a customer that was full of fentanyl and darn near died in the past week. I'd show the note that was full of the drug but I believe that the group rules wouldn't allow it.
Wow, I know that they say that 90% of paper money has traces of drugs on it, but your case is extreme. I hope you’re doing alright
Thank you. If the group doesn't allow @GDJMSP or any other admin please delete. There is only one reason I am sharing this pic and it is because I nearly died and I hope others will avoid anything that looks like this. I will at this point use gloves every day from now on.
How, what? Very confused. How do you know there was fentanyl on the bill? How did that transfer to you almost dyeing?
Glad to hear you're ok now. I'm guessing the drug is absorbed through contact? I wouldn't have imagined that was possible.
The Dr said it doesn't happen very often but on occasions in our area it will happen. I literally said what the heck?! IT WILL HAPPEN! how does it just happen. Then I'm reminded of where I live
Thank you. I am ok now. The drug is absorbed through your pores. Typically it doesn't happen very often because the membranes in your skin can keep most stuff out. In my case I have many breaks in my skin because the work I do so it absorbs quicker.
I contacted the authorities and even though I have video via the security camera rhe response they gave me is all the person has to say is they got it from someone else.
Well now this is all quite something. I have handled bills with similar dry yet mysterious substances but I've not had a problem or reaction from doing so. With your story and photos I will definitely take more caution going forward. The police are unfortunately quite correct. Although you'd think they could find and interview the person and put 2 + 2 together if they're known to them or otherwise a fit for a heavy narcotics user. Did it just make you feel sickly or what did you experience such that you nearly died? And how fast did you start feeling a response from the time after you handled the bill?
Your very lucky to be alive and sharing this. If it was pure fentanyl you probably wouldn't have been around to post this. Out of curiosity I looked it up and the according to HarmReductionOhio.org 500 micrograms "will put you at death's door". (500 micrograms=0.0005 gram).
I was about to post that my knowledge of that drug the amount on that bill could kill a bull moose! You are very lucky. Great information Thomas. And I know this may sound funny from a life time collector.....but at this point in time with covid 19 killing a quarter million Americans, and hospitals to their breaking point ...why would you think about handling cash? Sorry but after seeing the data at work.... as a food handler ,the virus can live for months on certain surfaces. 3 months on stainless steel and that was found in a food prep area! Someone posted here about a secret Santa this year....really? You want a coin from my home? Or any other members home? Sorry dont mean to be a downer....but think!! OMG.....we are now in uncharted waters , I seen food stores closed, food handlers in a deli where the entire deli staff sick with the virus. You as an individual and we as a group need to make good choices! Handeling paper money is hazardous to your health at this time. Cashiers must wear gloves to work...every food store I service it's mandatory for them to do so. I totally understand we dont think....as what was normal isn't any longer. One must remember that going out in public ,handling items out side your home, can kill you! And here posted above is solid proof that my statement is 100% correct as this member touching that note could of killed him if not from the drug, but the virus as well.
Did it just make you feel sickly or what did you experience such that you nearly died? And how fast did you start feeling a response from the time after you handled the bill?[/QUOTE] It made my BP bottom out and I got really sick to my stomach along with a bad headache. They gave me narcan along with fluids to clear my system. I don't think the substance was full fentynle or else I'd probably be dead. More than likely it was cut with some other drug.
Yeah thankfully it was not as severe as it could have been. I was able to leave the hospital the same day. I have seen many overdoses around here due to the opioid epidemic and it makes me sad.
Eric6794 Thank you for posting this....I wish you a speedy recovery, remember your system is had a hella blow to what is normal, please make good choices! Fight off the residuals effects of this drug, and avoid public places, and items that could infect your system with CV-19 . Again wishing you the best....Paddy
