    I really like this one, just seems to capture his personality as I interpret him - Powerful, however, Realistic, Jovial, Witty,

    "Let's get it DONE, and let the Feces FLY" kinda guy;

    for me, a guy you would enjoy knowing as a friend ... one of my favored "Empire" coins...

    I'm still Judaea Capta-less so will just be a spectator on this thread but there are some stunning coins posted.

    @Orfew , I wonder if the finder of the hoard could be located? Perhaps they took some pictures when first digging the group - I'd be interested in hearing a firsthand account from the finder: it must be quite a thrill to find a group of 100+ denarii.

    The reverse style of this coin is superb!

    This coin truly has everything going for it: a magnificent piece.
