Brigandi Coins NYC - THE GREAT WALL for sale

One of my NYC Local Coin Shops is Brigandi Coins and Collectables located in Midtown Manhattan.

I saw this NGC attributed coin for sale with an issue. Can you figure out what it could be?

Nope, not buying it. The die cutter (not an English reader) copied the words s/he was given EXACTLY onto the die, just like every other design element.

 

Is the Chinese script also reversed?

 

Good question..

 

The Chinese is not reversed. Apparently the words for the Great Wall are 长城 in Simplified, 長城 in Traditional. From there I used Wiktionary to see the seal script versions of these characters, and they are the same as on the medal.
