This one has initials scratched on obverse and a funky reverse. Just flattened smooth. 1920 cent. date at 3:00 on reverse.
I have way to many to post but here's a few of them: From Chincoteague Island, VA Hershey Park and The Lords Prayer. The Hershey park is an older coin but no date is on the reverse. The Lords Prayer is on a Wheat Cent that's dated 1945. The Navy Pier in Chicago And an elongated Cent dated 1893. The reverse is blank.
I recall, as a kid, occasionally putting a coin on the railroad tracks to create my own piece of "art."
All of mine are fairly current and collected by me in my many travels. Those machines are still out there in many tourist locations.
Chris I would walk the tracks looking for spent ball berrings from the train wheels a little egg shaped but made great ammo for a wrist rocket sling shot. I didnt need a bb gun heck those berrings had a heck of a wallop.
We used to go to the car junk yard and break off antennas. One of the smaller sections was the perfect diameter for a 22 cal. bullet. We used to make zip guns that were pretty accurate to about 25 feet.
