It is my first and not in perfect condition but I am very happy with it :D I have been hoping to pick up a couple and this came to me at a very reasonable price. I hope you like it!

    Best Regards ~ Darryl

And this one's interesting because the two A's in the two serial numbers are in different typefaces. The one on the left is more common for later blocks like the U..A; the one on the right, with the flat top and higher crossbar, is typical for early blocks of the 1928 series but is getting somewhat uncommon by this late in the alphabet. Mismatches of A styles like this aren't too hard to find in the Woods-Mellon series, but it's still kind of neat to find the two different versions on the same note. (The flat-top "early A" is actually rather scarce in Woods-Mills and later signatures, though it's been sighted as late as Julian-Vinson....)

Thanks Numbers :D That is very interesting info!

And thanks to everyone else - I also really like the design and look forward to picking up a 34! :)

Price for this note was listed at $40 by a dealer I do business with on a very regular basis. He gave me a little discount - I think he was just happy to see me buy something other than a 656 note... :D :D :D

    Best Regards ~ Darryl

Wow $40!! I would have dive bombed on that one too. My dealer had one similar for $70 that I passed on.

nice note, and an awsome price. it is rather odd not to see a solid 656 note, but you are still sticking to the theme on this note :)

    Nice find!!

Wow! Twenty-six 1's or ONE's. The BEP really wanted to make sure no one was mistaken about the value of this.

:D pure coincidence on the 1st 4 digits. Honestly it would not have mattered what the numbers were but it did make me smile when I saw the note.

    Thanks ~ Darryl. :)

14 on the face, 12 on the reverse. No doubt, it's a 1(one) dollar bill.

Yes all the 1's really are something else - it's still a cool design even with the overemphasises of the the value. :)
