Well got the e-mail today that my ANA/NGC membership is now in place for submissions... 3 coins headed out in the next day or 2 This is the 1st I will post the other 2 in their own threads and we can compare the guesses when the coins come back :D
1st... bought for the $20 LC set but I thinking she might score as high as MS63 but we will see... These pics do not do the coin justice.. it's a beautiful RB with some luster still in the fields... Only issue that worries me is a rim ding on the reverse... 20201118_182520 (2).jpg 20201118_182533 (2).jpg

I can't argue though i think it will come in higher then 55 and the 63 i mentioned was the "best" i think it could come back.. honestly I would grade her at about a 60..

Wear is wear and I definitely see wear on the wreath on the reverse and on the hair above the ear on the obverse.

I also think 55. Even with some luster in the protected areas, it wouldn't be near enough to ignore the wear. As @furham said; wear is wear, and you can't unwear it. It is a nice coin though!

I’m at AU Details for a grade. From those pics, looks to have an old cleaning. Sharper pics may change my mind.

I'm seeing wear on both sides so I'm at AU-55, maybe 58 on a good day.

    I like it as a 55 or 58

Straight grade XF, but the rim ding makes me think AU details.

Au. The surfaces look like possible qc or altered surfaces. Au 53 my technical grade

After looking at the coin again, I definitely agree about the color. I've seen the odd subtle pinkish/greenish tint on other LC's, but I don't know what causes it. Just something funky about it, but not in a good way.
