1883 Hawaiian $1

    Well... She finaly arrived from Russia... and as believed, she is a copy without the copy stamp... on the positive side she passes the magnet test and 10 minutes ago passed the acid test, so while I got a fake Hawaiian $1 at least it is silver and I only paid a hair over melt lol...
    I knew the price was too good when i bought it lol...
    PS also show casting marks on the edge...

    That sucks....but I called it :)
    Are you sure it isn't just silver plated? I don't see why they would waste that much silver on a fake?

    well we took a good "scraping" from the edge for the acid test looking for just that (plating) and it appears solid My guess is .925/artclay was used to make it..

    This condition 100-150 possibly more... I caught this one last few seconds of auction and got it for 38 so thought I had a real score lol $3k on etsy lol

    Well if silver I guess you came out ok. Thanks for posting it. I have seen a lot of the fake dimes on eBay from Russian sellers as well.
