Been tough getting coins but managed to score a box of customer-wrapped rolls today. No "wow" coins but a decent haul...

2 foreigns: 5 pence (UK) and 20 rappen (Swiss)
20 older Jeffersons 1939–1959 (no key dates)
And a 1943-P war nickel.

 

Meow is back from the bank with 20 more rolls of SRB quarters. Meow will try and open some later, maybe after din din. Meow sure hopes to find at least one W. If not Meow may have to avoid local SRB rolls, as Meow cannot avoid keeping them. And the Cat Hoard will be awash with SRB rolls Meow cannot spend on Meow Mix or premium V8 vehicle juice.

 

Hmmm, So Meow has opened three rolls with no Ws. Meow did get bored with the rolls being so monotonous after the second, so grabbed a roll from a random mix Meow got last week. And THAT roll had something! It had a SAM W in it. It is only Meow's second one. So now can complete two sets of 2019 W quarters. Meow is now thinking about buying one or more of them 5 coins holders to display them. Meow is disappointed that none of the BU rolls may contain any Ws. As Meow would have thought that BU rolls would be like shooting fish in a barrel. It is sad Meow is still SRB W-less. It would seem shooting in an empty barrel garners no fish.................

Thanks Cheech. 0-3 so far in this batch. Will try a few more tonight. You think its not possible for BU rolls to have zero Ws in them? Meow read Furryfrog had a whole box of P mints with nada. Meow has D mints. 40 rolls in two lots. The second lot has coins with grease scars on them, while the first batch did not.

 

It happens but I’ve have had boxes like that. Guam. Picked up one box and caught like 60. Out of 40 rolls Even told teller when I handed 10 rolls back. Give to their favorite customer. Chasing SRB’s. Was with a friend while banking. Got a case and she bought 6 just for the heck of it. Me zip. Her 12. Vermont W’s Got a case. Hit a bunch on the last 6 rolls. 40

 

@gronnh20 i got the new Vermont W Quarters. You want 1 PM me your address. All but 4 Showed showed dates. Was fun while it lasted. Going to find a few with mint marks maybe next time. You know spice it up a little. Wasted a lot of vinegar. You want a couple to see

Wow, terrific haul! You must not have any competing CRHs in you area. CRH prey is very limited in Meow's area.

 

1 bank yesterday had 2 MWR halves...Nada.

 

Well I am back to roll searching since the first of the year. I have been the caretaker of my wife who had Pancreatic cancer since last November. Sorry to say we lost her last month. Looking for things to keep me busy, I started roll searching again. Got a box of halves from the bank and found a nice 1964P, 1968D and a 2001s proof. I also counted 31 NIFC's.

 

Great finds. I still need some NIFC's to complete my Kennedy collection.
