Unfotunately, you are correct about there not being any varieties, but on the bright side, it was only a little more than a dollar and it has a lot of luster. The other coin that I thought was a good purchase was that 1941-D mercury dime. It has full luster and I wouldn't be surprised if it was uncirculated.
That sounds like a whole lot of fun for relatively low costs. Next time, buy a grading book as well, always buy books along with coins. They help you learn, and fill in the time when the budget is tight:smile
