The first letter n of the denomination device on the obverse is traversed by a ribbon like relief rising from the field, and the device itself. Is that what you see ? Is this an idb ? Is it part of the die ?.........martha WIN_20201116_17_05_38_Pro.jpg WIN_20201116_16_59_27_Pro.jpg WIN_20201116_17_01_27_Pro.jpg

Looks like a large die crack to me.

Directly below the "anomaly" on the serifs of the N are little raised ridges, could this be a piece of wire or similar that was struck through and retained?
Just an observation of what I see

Your coin has a major scratch that cuts across and into the "n" and then cuts the rim along the same curve.

There are four indications of this. I've named two of them. What are the other "clues?"

I agree with the scratch. The upraised metal around the edges.

Upraised metal is one, what is another?

I can see the hits on the rim and metal pushed out of place. It's a scratch and not an error.

Looks like the coin got run over in the parking lot obverse down. The obverse is very beat up, whereas the reverse not so much.

So, IMO, what you have there is a coin with PMD where the metal was moved. I'd call that a hit rather then a scratch.

I agree with a hit/scratch due to raised metal along and parallel to the anomaly. I also see the left hand side of the upper right serif of "N" displaced out of position due to the hit/strike.
