OK Here we go again. It doesn't look like machine doubleing/damage to me (as stated before still a novice). Seems to be an indention/depression above date and another bubble" above right of the four. So I guess my question is ..Is it a DDO and what is the depression from? Clog die maybe? As always I appreciate any info from the pros. Mark
no, an overlay of the reverse onto the obverse would show that the depression is in the shape of the building on the reverse. Can't recall what this is called. Search Mike Diamond posts. Die deteriation transferrence someting I think
Are you thinking about a Die Clash TheNoost? I am not sure on this one, but to my untrained eye it may well be. You can see the basic outline on the both the reverse and obverse of the die, just that you can't see any detail. So it may be a well Late Die Stage Die clash.. I hope that is the right terminoligy for it. Dave

You may be 100% correct TheNoost. I can't tell if what I am looking at inside the red line is embedded or raised. If itis raised then I agree with you, if embedded then I would wonder. Dave
Could you post a photo of the entire Obverse of the coin. I am far from an expert on this, but hopefull either Mike Diamond or Foundinrolls can weigh in and give their opinion on it. Dave
Maybe I am just seeing something that is not there. As far as the doubling on the date I will agree with everyone else that it is machine doubling as far as what I thought or think I see as to a die clash, I will just have to let Mike or Foundinrolls give their opinion. I tried an overlay but had to rotate the reverse to have it fit. Dave
