In the coupon section of todays newspaper there is an ad for 2009 Silver Eagles unc for $15.95 each. Free shipping. What's the catch?

Why would you think there is a catch ? I saw them selling for $15 at the coin show Sat.

Of course, once you buy from Littleton they will bombard you with more offers and send you coins for approval.

Littletons coins are just fine, prices are usually higher than most places but this ain't a bad price for the 09'. I don't think they send you coins on approval unless you sign up for them, but they will send you alot of junk mail for stuff.

Sending for the 2009 eagle IS asking for coins on approval. If you can deal with that then send. That is the catch

i saw that add too,and it did not say anything about coins for approval on it. i think that one is just to get you on a mailing list.
last year someone posted a link to a littleton ad for 08 eagles (up to 5) and there was no catch.

Like orthers have said, they sign you up for coins on approval. But all you have to do is cancel the subsciption and keep your eagle. They used to have real lowball prices on the silver eagles to suck you in.
