The reverse appears to have nice details, but I was curious about what do you think this coin will grade at? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1889-CC-Morgan-Silver-Dollar-Key-Date/233780578402?hash=item366e688862:g:bdMAAOSwB4Zfr0E8
Looks to be cleaned but I will go xf40-45 not seeing any luster has that polished/cleaned look to it i wouldn't buy a coin like this raw.
Sell has a low feedback rating and you have an 1889 CC not in a top TPG slab. There's always a reason a coin like this isn't in a slab. Sorry.
The coin onced toned has been over dipped. Thru the haze you can see where the toning was the heaviest. I would pass remember CC's were made from the best ore. The comstock silver was some of the best silver known. I pass and wait out a better specimen.
Fakeroo IMHO. The stars, lettering, and date are "mushy" and not well-defined like on a genuine coin.
And that's another factor. The coin has too much value to buy raw. Why isn't it slabbed to prove authenticity?
