    I agree with you. The color is not original, which will limit the ultimate auction price.

    Nothing is "priceless." Everything can have a price, if it is offered for sale.

    "Coinfacts" estimates that there are 7, 1943 bronze cents, and I have found that their estimates tend to be on the low side. The population report shows that they have graded 7 of them, so they must think that they have handled them all.

    I believe the difference in pricing is going to be the condition and number of coins minted or suspected quantity from each mint. I have read estimates on the 1943-P to be 20, the 1943-S to be 5 and the 1943-D to be ONE. As for me, I prefer Morgan Dollars of the VAM variety that I can cherry pick.

    I lovingly clean all of my silver finds with water and baking soda. As I gently rub the baking soda on a wet coin and watch the crap come off, it’s like watching it being reborn. I also keep all the silver. Cant bring myself to sell it. Likely my kid will rack up after I’m gone. Lol.
