1929 D cool toned wheat penny

    I found this wheat penny and just wanted to know what people thought about it or how much it's worth.

    It has some pretty cool purple and blue toning..

    I'm guessing this was cleaned and has re-toned over the years.

    That is along the lines of what I was thinking. But it's still really cool looking.

    It does look to be cleaned and has re-toned, but it looks really cool!

    Agree with the old cleaning/re-toned - we used to take butane torches and get the same results in HS chemistry class. ;-)

    Due to it's surface wear and color it should be worth 10¢ is a hole filler.
    I also think it has an old cleaning and re-toned since.
    What does the reverse look like?

    The reverse is not as toned, but is in OK condition.
