I am not a collector, but I have a 1911 silver dime and a 1911 nickel that has 13 stars with a woman's head on the front and a wreath with a V on the back. I wondered what they are worth. They are in pretty good shape and the date is readable. Thanks!

hello. You have a barber dime and a liberty nickel. We need pictures or a grade to determine value. Is there a mint mark on any.

    Welcome

Hello, there- your nickel is called a Liberty Nickel or V Nickel-value depends on grade. Grade is generally determined by how many letters of "Liberty" are readable of ladies headband. If no letters are present and coin has full rims it's probably around good condition and has a value of about a dollar; if at least 3 letter of liberty are visible it's probably around vg condition and would have a value of around $1.30, if all letters are visible including the "i" it would grade at least fine with a value in fine of about three dollars. Grading from this point up depends on how much detail is present on ladies hair and stars, the next grade up from fine is vf with a fair value of around five to six dollars, next grade is xf -these coins have very little wear and would have a fair market value of 15-20 dollars. With your dime I'd have to know what mint mark is on the reverse-it's under the wreath at 6 o'clock if coin wear a watch. If there's no mint mark there it's a Philadelphia, a D stands for Denver, and an S stands for San Fransico, an O stand for New Orleans but they didn't mint dimes in 1911. All dimes from 1911 are fairly common dates and are worth under five dollars if they don't have full "liberty" on headband. However the dime is a silver coin so it's at least worth it's weight in silver. Hope this helps a little.
