It's nice to work just a mile or so from the nearest coin shop... so every once in awhile I'll go out on Friday to pickup a sandwich and stop at the shop for a few minutes. I usually just check out the junk silver, and today I picked up these four SLQ's for eight bucks. They had nice dates, so I don't think I overpaid. Also grabbed a copy of Coin World with Susan Headley's article about the Chinese fakes deceiving the FUN dealers. Not a bad way to spend 30 minutes on a Friday!
Agreed! That's a nice pull for eight bones. I, too, work close to a coin shop. Fortunately, I also have the leeway to pop in there occasionally. What a great way to break up a long day.
