I received this in the mail today as an upgrade to my VF Lincoln cent. I remember reading somewhere that higher grade 1910 lincoln cents aren't all that common, so I picked this up for a good price on the bay. It has solid cartwheel luster and natural red brown surfaces, but I'm not sure if it quite makes BU. What would you guys grade? Either way, I am very pleased with it!

I would agree with you, there seems to be some wear on the wheat stalks and on the cheekbone from your pics. I would call it AU-53 myself. A nice piece to be sure though, if you got it for around $10-12 you're probably doing all right.

The east side of the rim. Is it (not gonna say doubled) but a little extra?

If that coin is AU, that is one of the nicest AU58's I have ever seen.I am not sure whether that would be a 63 or a 64, but I would guess 64.

If memory serves me right, the comment about nice 1910's said that they had not seen 64's. FWIW, I just bought a 65, but it does not look very red.

I will agree with RLM. That one has nice luster and nice color. I would go with 63RB

I think I agree with you guys. I don't see anything you can positively identify as wear on that coin.

63RB all day every day. Nice coin.

The weaknes in the right wheat is strike/die wear, not circulation wear. Value ? $30-40

    Mis-aligned die strike.

Personal grade 63 because the small scratch on the obv, TPG grade 64.

I stand corrected, and you did good, $12 is what you'd expect for a 58.

My photography skill is lacking with rim shots. Here is the best I can do for now. Looks pretty normal to me.

ok, so I'm kidding. In honesty though I have no idea what you're implying.

Honestly I'm not implying anything. I'm just looking at it and don't love the fields at all.
